This Privacy Policy explains how Little by Little AB ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Giltmark app and related services (the "Service"). Giltmark is a book-tracking application designed with privacy in mind. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide the Service:

• Account information — when you create an account, we collect your name and email address.
• Content you create — Giltmark stores the content you choose to add, such as your shelves, reading lists, notes, and similar entries. This content is associated with your account and may be stored on our central servers so it can sync across your devices.
• Account identifiers — we assign an internal user ID to your account to operate the Service.

We do not collect analytics or usage-tracking data, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking services. Crash reporting during beta testing is handled by Apple's TestFlight under Apple's own privacy terms.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to operate and provide the Service: to create and maintain your account, to store and sync the content you create, and to communicate with you about your account or the Service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

How We Share Your Information

We do not share your personal information with third parties except: with service providers (such as hosting or database providers) who process data on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations; or when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.

Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored on secure servers operated by us or our hosting providers. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, though no system is completely secure.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app: open Account settings and choose Delete account. Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently erased after a 30-day grace period — logging back in within that window cancels the deletion. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Future Changes

We may introduce paid features or in-app purchases in the future. If this changes what data we collect, we will update this policy. We will post any changes here and update the "Last updated" date.
